Use Backdropless only with images you have the right to process. Keep your original and inspect each exported copy before relying on it.
Your images and rights
You retain the rights you already hold in your files. Processing a file does not grant you rights in someone else’s photograph, logo, likeness or signature. Obtain the permissions needed for the use you intend. The editor does not publish your files or offer them to other users.
Results need review
Automatic masks can remove parts of a subject or retain background fragments. Conversion, resizing and compression may change appearance, metadata or animation. Keep the original and check the exported file in the application where it will be used. Do not treat a cutout as proof of identity, authenticity or document acceptance.
Published guidance
Guides summarize linked sources within the stated scope and check date. Authorities and platforms can change their rules. Their current instructions take priority over our presets. Passport and visa tools are framing aids, not government-approved capture systems, legal advice or acceptance guarantees.
Availability and planned products
The current browser tools are offered without a usage fee. Features marked as in development on the pricing page are not available products, and joining the waitlist does not buy a subscription. Browser capabilities and device resources can limit what the editor can process. We do not promise uninterrupted access or a particular processing time.
Responsible use
Do not use the service to impersonate others, falsify documents, conceal material product defects or violate another person’s rights. Do not abuse the waitlist endpoint or attempt to disrupt the service. Contact us about a problem through the address on the contact page.
Liability and mandatory rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service and informational material are supplied as available without a promise that every result is suitable for a particular purpose.
